There has been a place of worship here since Saxon times. The present building dates from the 1420s and, in its well-kept churchyard, stands at the heart of the village. It is part of the "Haldon and Teign Valley Group" along with the villages of Bridford, Christow, Doddiscombsleigh, Ashton and Dunchideock. .

Regular services are held, including a lively morning Family Service on the fourth Sunday each month, when all ages are welcome, and a Playchurch for toddlers and Mums on the second Wednesday afternoon each month.

The ringers, who enjoy good success in competitions, always welcome new learners.

WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 24th - 4pm Crib Service for School and everybody,       also, at 11:30 pm, Midnight Communion.
