Part 2: The Questionnaire 

Throughout this and subsequent sections, percentage of responses indicates the number of respondents who said yes, as a fraction of the number of respondents who said yes or no, excluding blank responses.

 

2.1 Environment 

On the whole, environmental issues appear to be becoming less important to those in the younger age groups with the exception of control of dog waste and locally produced or organic food. 

The most important environmental issues in any single age groups are control of dog waste (10-29 and 60+), and protection and encouragement of wildlife and protection of hedgerows (50-59), the landscape (30-60+), and control of litter (30-49). 

2.1.1    Regarding a number of environmental issues which may be of concern to the residents of Dunsford, the order of priorities shown in the table overleaf were identified, ranging from those considered to be very important (1.0) to those considered to be not important at all (3.0).
