St Mary's Church

There has been a place of worship here since Saxon times. The present building dates from the 1420s and, in its well-kept churchyard, stands at the heart of the village. It is part of the "Haldon and Teign Valley Group" along with the villages of Bridford, Christow, Doddiscombsleigh, Ashton and Dunchideock.

Times of Church Services are posted in the porch and in the Parish Magazine.

Regular services are held including:

A lively morning Family Service on the first Sunday each month 10am, when all ages are welcome.

A regular Parish Communion is held at 10am and evening worship at 6.30,  once a month

Play Church for under fives and their carers on the second Wednesday afternoon each month.

The bell ringers, who enjoy good success in competitions, always welcome new learners.
